Are you a woman in waiting? What are you waiting on God to do in your life and how long have you been waiting on something that you have asked God to do for you? My prayer is that you haven’t stopped believing that your desire is going to come to pass? I encourage you and The Bible says “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9 NIV). That is the key to this message – Do not give up! God knows what you need and He knows the appointed time when He is going to give it to you as long as it is according to His will.
“You’re on the edge of a breakthrough.” “Your blessing is around the corner.” or what about “Your heart’s desires will be fulfilled”. How many times have you heard these words while waiting on a blessing? Do you ever feel that waiting is nothing more than frustrating? Do you ever sit wondering when your greatest blessings will come into manifestation? I pray, I obey, I love, I turn my cheek to enemies, and I am reaching to go to a higher level in God. But still, I wait. Does this sound familiar to you? Do you feel like some prayers work fast and others take too long? Are you growing weary and ready to take matters into your own hands? I caution you to build up your faith and remain in your season of waiting until God is ready to bring you out of it.
Meditate on this scripture – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)
God knows His perfect timing. You may not be ready yet. He may still be molding you with the ability to handle the blessing. Your blessing may not be at its best or ready for God to present it to you. In this season, give God your best so that He will return His best to you. We should be so into God that he has to interrupt us serving Him just to bless us! In whatever you do – Don’t give up. Keep praying, keep serving, keep worshiping and keep believing!
Your waiting season is a perfect time for you to get into God’s Word to be reminded of His promises. Scripture will show you that God’s will always comes to pass. God has not forgotten about you! Be careful that you do not move outside of His will. When you move out of season, the season will only last longer. Don’t delay your blessings. Let God bring upon the manifestation of His promises in His timing. “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” (James 1:2-4 NIV)
I want to encourage you to stop focusing on the fact that you have asked God to bless you with something and it hasn’t happened yet. It doesn’t mean that God is denying your request; it may mean that He is waiting on you to give Him your heart, your time and your life - completely! We must be completely surrendered in every area of our lives. We must completely give everything over to God, live according to His Word, trust His plan and wait on His promises. “I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread” (Psalm 37:25 – NIV) - God has not forgotten about you. Get beyond God blessing you and worship Him for who He is. Once you have allowed God to complete the spiritual circumcision in your life, His promises will follow once He sees that you are ready to receive the blessings. Keep the faith and don’t give up!
Sending Hope your Way!

Tanika, as always, well written and awesome reminder that all the promises of God are yes and amen!!!
i love your website, i`m a 44 yo man who works full time and takes care of his 78 yo mother, we go to church every sunday morning, we pray every day, every thing paid for, no debt, but as a single guy, who hasn`t really found a girl who was interested in having a 2 way conversation in over 10 years, i guess i `m ready to give up, i guess god has something better in store for me
I hear ya Aaron. I'm a 48 year old women. Wonder where any single men are my age. Life can't be over this early.
I do believe God still has a plan for me. I question his timing, but he knows me better than I know myself.
This is a great post Tanika. Anything worth having, is worth waiting on GOD for — He promises strength while we wait!
I believe that once we develop a track record at being content during our waiting periods, GOD will start to answer our prayers before we ask for anything!
He's faithful!
God bless you,
Aleysha
