On the glossy pages of fashion magazines and expensive, colorful commercials are images of women with lusciously beautiful hair. A woman’s hair, whether chic and short or glamorously long, has the ability to frame her face and turn heads. Let’s be honest, no one rises in the morning, camera ready-there are fabulous products that contribute to healthy hair.

Our friends over at Target have sent over some new hair products that deliver on the promise to give the appearance of effortless hair, regardless of texture.

The Fashionista rules for effortless hair:
Rule 1: Damp hair Hair should be saturated with water before applying shampoo. Warm water allows the shampoo to most effectively remove the dirt and oils in the hair that commonly cause dandruff.
Rule 2: Shampoo Use a quarter size amount of Cherry Blossom Ginseng Shampoo. The cherry blossom extract invigorates the hair follicles, providing an amazing scent while hydrating and adding shine. Apply into the palms of your hands and massage into hair (not vigorously). Do not mound hair on top of your head to scrub, this will cause tangles.
Rule 3: Rinse Hair Completely rinse hair with cold water to prevent frizz and close the pores of your scalp.
Rule 4: Condition Most women experience tangled hair after the shampooing process. FX Special Effects has an amazing detangling product! Separate your wet hair into two sections. Spray instant conditioning detangler spray onto tangled hair, before combing hair from root to tip. The product moisturizes hair while infusing liquid silk proteins that contribute to healthy hair.
Rule 5: Blow Dry Tilt head downward to blow dry hair with medium heat. In doing so, it focuses the heat on the root to maximize the volume of your hair.
Rule 6: Styling Spray Lightly spritz styling and texturizing spray onto dry hair. This will provide a maintained and soft textured look that won’t lose volume, leaving hair with a salon quality finish.

Although we have the ability to transform our dry tresses into lavish locks, remember that the very hairs of your head are numbered and because you are a woman of God you have nothing to fear.
